The new bridge is really taking shape. The anchors and central columns went up fast and today the roadbed is in place. Rebuilding bridges is a snap these days.

My two rooms are adjacent to a hallway and my bathroom. Alice has taught herself to open doors now. I suspected it the other day when she appeared in the other room then the next day I confirmed it when I actually saw her do it. She is spending more time outside after over 3 months here. She used to be a outdoor cat but since we moved she has spent more time indoors between the drapes and the sliding glass doors. Soon after we moved in there was an aerial spraying for the light brown apple moth. The plane flew very low and close to the gully one morning about 345am as I was getting ready for work. I wonder if Alice stayed indoors because of that. They're going to spray again in a couple months.
